On the 11th and the 12th of September the final conference of the STORTY project and the official launching of the ErasmusIntern platform held place in Brussels, Belgium. Our treasurer Caroline Elisabeth Lund was present during the conference together with participants from all around Europe. The first day started of with a set of trainings for all ESN members while the second day was spent in the EU parliament. The STORY project is divided into two; research and an online platform. The project is co-founded by the European Commission.

1. STORY (Strengthening the Training Opportunities for International Youth) aims to improve the accessibility and quality of international placements and to increase the awareness regarding the existence of such opportunities for young graduates. A Europe-wide survey has been made to analyse the impact, quality, obstacles and expectations of study and placement programmes. The main outputs of this project has been a research report, student guidebook, a booklet with recommodations for stakeholders as well as a website where all these reports can be found.

2. ErasmusIntern (Where trainees and traineeships meet) is an online platform for traineeships listings. Both students can create a profile searching for traineeships, while companies can post their offers. This project is still in an early phase, but we aim to become a major source of traineeships and Erasmus Placements. We encourage all students and ESN members to create a profile at ErasmusIntern.org!
